Thank you for your interest in Sunpiper Media Publishing. Sunpiper was created specifically for one purpose-to establish a literary platform that represents writers with positive messages and ideals. It took two years for this platform to be constructed and we now feel it is ready to not only support those writers online, but in book stores as well. This faith-filled confidence has sparked the birth of Sunpiper Media Publishing.

Sunpiper Media Publishing is not a POD publisher. Sunpiper does not charge authors for the acquisition and production of their works. Though we feel all methods of publishing has its rightful place in the industry, we believe POD publishing benefits the publisher far more than the author. The majority of the time, it gains minimal exposure for the author and in our opinion, does not constitute true support.

Sunpiper Media Publishing is striving to become a benchmark in traditional publishing. Sunpiper's marketing plan projects this establishment within 2 years. No publishing company, however, can be established without titles. For this reason, Sunpiper is seeking literary works that have the following criteria. These criteria are listed in order of importance:

1. A positive message - Sunpiper believes in the true art and foundation of writing. We believer that literary works are not only for entertainment, but also for the message that looms within the author's words. For this reason, we do not consider works that have gratuitous violence, sex, profanity, etc. This does not infer that manuscripts cannot contain the aforementioned subjects. Sunpiper realizes that in this world, these things are a part of reality and on some occasions they are necessary tools used to accurately display the reality and environment of a person or character. We believe that if they are presented, they must be warranted and presented in a tasteful manner.

2. An active author - There is no better representative of an author than the author. Sunpiper requires that authors be enthusiastic and proactive about the promotion of their title. Sunpiper believes that in selling a book, you are also selling a piece of the person who wrote the book. Though Sunpiper will be working with national distributors, it is still important that the author assist in getting the word out about her/his book.

3. A desire to establish long-term success - the projects in which Sunpiper chooses to support are projects that have a long-term message, thus experiencing long-term sales. These include real life situations, self-help, novels, young adult genre, children's books, anthologies, short stories and poetry. Socially impacting literary works never grow old.
